Snow!!

It's been a while since there's been so much snow.. well at least in comaprison to last year's winter, that was mild. This year is a bit harsher with the last freezing rain and the dragged power out days. Not to mention it's colder this year too.

My Very Cold Weekend

I didn't really expect this winter's freezing rain would have such a huge after effect on the environment, but seeing how heavy the trees bent from the ice.. it was quite an amazing sight and also terrifying. Many trees in my neighborhood snapped from that weight and worse thing was the power outage.

Nuit Blanche 2013

It was the first time I've ever attended Nuit Blanche and had a great experience. It's an interesting event where different exhibitions were displayed and interacted with in downtown Toronto. There were A LOT of people and so line-ups were certainly long, but it wasn't that bad.. However time to time, I felt a bit claustrophobic.. but the weather was decent for October. A relatively warm night with a strong cool wind.. which later brought the rain.

The large crowds of people slowly died down as the night became younger.. around 1-2am. As for my group of friends, we continued to walk to different locations to check out the different displays.. since our work shift doesn't start till 5am. Might as well enjoy ourselves! :D

33 Degrees C

Today is so incredibly hot with the sun burning down overhead. I woke up quite early, around 6:50am to get started with work but fell asleep around 10-ish;;;

I ended up having a weird yet interesting dream influenced by the heat. It started with me sealing everything in my house air-tight and then filling it with water.. which then I simply swam around inside the cool water. I suppose the water was magic? That or it was my house because water did not leak out the open windows. So, whenever the wind blew in a cool breeze, it created air bubbles for me to breathe.

I guess this dream is mainly my want of cool water to go swimming? (⌒0⌒;)

A New Start

It's JUNE~!!!!!!! Already! Time is going by so fast, it's quite surprising. I haven't been blogging too much as I've been busy with school work, but I do post quite a few things via Twitter as you can probably see~ haha!

Anyway, while listening to the radio, I heard this song and really wanted to share. It's a beautiful and touching song by Hiromi - I Need You/Aisaretai. Enjoy!

Other news, the weather lately has been SO humid! The days are either very bright and sunny or murky cloudy and wanting-to-rain-but-doesn't.. The past few forecasts predicted thundershowers or a severe thunderstorm warning, but guess what? It didn't happen. Rain please, I need it! We all need it to cool down! C:

Thunder Showers!!

Today was super hot and the cooling refreshment poured down as an evening rain. It was very pleasant listening to the rain and gentle thunder. I hope it rains a bit more so the temperature cools a bit more.

Victoria Day

It's finally Victoria Day and the weather is so nice, maybe a bit too nice. Today was so hot and sunny with a warm breeze now and then. I hope it will rain tonight a bring the temperature down a bit.

Currenly it's 29°C but feels like 36°C! (・・;)..

Crazy Weather..

The weather has gone from warm and sunny to rain and slight cloudiness.. and now, as the temperature is dropping more, it feels like Summer leaped backwards and it's semi-winter-spring weather. Today's windy chills were the least of it, but quite surprising is the sudden hail. The weather's gone down to shits..

Allergy Relief & School News

Allergy relief at last because of the rain!! Although, it is not like I was not content with the bright sunny and warm weather.. but it really did increase the damage of eye irritation and the continuous runny nose. But anyway.. it's nearing the end of my first week back and it's a pretty big jump back into work.. FIGHT!!!

And.. on a side note: Kuroko no Basuke NG-shuu is so stupid funny lolll

It's May!

The weather is so beautiful today! Sunny and warm.. with a nice cool breeze.~ A great day at the park or even just out for a walk. I'd like to have a play day with friends at Wonderland or a trip to the zoo before my break ends.

And even though I've said to myself I'd do some practicing over my break.. I'm really letting it slip!!!! Dx

Where's the Sun?

It's a wet and cloudy morning after a warm bright sunny day yesterday. I miss the sunshine already, haha! Cloudy days always make it so much more difficult for me to get outta bed.. but as the afternoon comes, the sun started to warm the air with a gentle yellow glow.

It's kind of a good thing that it's warmer this year and winter's snow hasn't fallen just yet.. however, this also reminds me of the constant issue of global warming.. ; n ; sigh..

Rainy Gloom

The weather feels like late Autumn has finally sunk in due to the moderate warm-cool temperatures and the days of rain. I'm not the biggest fan of rain and cloudy days.. it feels quite gloomy and sad. However, cloudy days with sun peeking through the clouds time-to-time is nice~ The best days are sunshine showers! Sunny days with warm rain.. those days make me want to go for a long walk, enjoying the warmth and cool combination of rain.

A Bit Under the Weather

It's been a couple days since it was warm and sunny. The dull clouds seem to drag throughout the day.. making it feel slow. Today's weather really made me feel quite bleh with any particular reason. Although, I did manage to finish my essay early, but I'm not quite happy with it. It's like the words are not sounding the way I want them to.. if you get what I mean, haha;;

Anyway, to cheer myself up a little, I turned to some Kpop! I guess this is also a little tribute to Hyuna? Maybe? Haha~ Anywho, I hope you enjoy the music videos! c:

Grey skies hang low after a day of warm sun

Lightening Strikes in High Places

It was as if a plough truck drove into my home as thunder roared and shook the house..
Petrified at the sudden quake and explosive boom overhead, I laid still covering my ears..
Whoosh.. down came the rain like waterfalls..
One step outside and you'd be drenched!
A second wave hit the house, and so did several more..
I gathered courage and looked to the sky
Flash.. lightening crackles across the dull morning grey
Slowly I count, 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. thunder echoed softer..
A gentle sigh.. relief.
The storm has passed.

Water of Life

Flashes of lightening danced across the night sky..
Following close, a gentle roll of thunder echoes in the distance..
Pitter-patter.. Pitter-patter..
Raindrops trickle down the glass window..
Shh..~ Silence..
You can hear the quietest of echoes as the land drinks happily..
The evening's storm brought life and quenched the Earth's thirst.

Evening's Purr

A whispered coo from the heavens echoed in the night

Flashing of sparks ignite the dark clouded sky

Now, a gentle rolling thunder follows the teasing web of electricity

A storm is brewing, migrating..

As fast as it came, the purr left without a tear

Ah, such a silent night..

First Day of Spring

A blanket of thick fog stretched across the horizon, gently caressing the skyline. The cool mist kissed the dawning sun as it wakes and bid good morning. The warm daylight embraced the moist air, silently nudging the night's essence to sleep. It's finally Spring! Winter's long bitter evenings have parted into a deep slumber... until next time, until next time. Good night, dear cold Winter.

Inspired by yesterday morning. The fog was so thick you could hardly see 10ft away from you until the sun came up. It was really cool how the sunlight changed the colors of the fog too. C:

Snow Petals of Late Winter

Icy petals gently dancing.. drifting on the wind. Slowly, they float down.. decorating my hair with white cold crystals. Ah, what a beautiful sight, like flower petals upon the wind. Winter sent her children once again.

Kissing our cheeks with chill.. blanketing the warmth with frozen diamonds. We watch them play, dancing around the trees as they tickle the bare branches. You could hear the wind giggle a teasing song, "We just came to play, please don't send us away"
